In downtown Phnom Penh you will find us in Street 178, just one block from the Tonle Bassac River. Our little shop has been a magnet for visitors from all over the world looking for ethical, high quality genuine Cambodian handicrafts since 2003. It’s jam-packed with a superb variety of hand-loomed silk and cotton scarves and bags, purses and homewares. We promote and stock only natural fibres. The fabrics we stock and use in our products range from traditional ikat and jacquard weaves to hand-printed and tie-dye designs. Every item is hand crafted by disabled and disadvantaged artisans and ethically sourced. We have our own workshop (see photo) and also support weavers and artisans working from home and in the countryside.
Kravan House was founded by Mrs Thanan Hok to support, train and employ disabled artisans – read her story here. We currently work with more than 70 people with a workshop in Phnom Penh and others working from home or in the provinces. Our shop has a huge range of beautiful textiles at very affordable prices.
We wholesale around the world and have partnerships spanning the globe. If you can’t visit us – please support us by buying from one of our partners.
